Sign-ups for Spring session of VPL will be open from March 1st through the 22nd. Take a look at Spring Session info here. For complete information or to sign up, join our FaceBook group. No late entries will be allowed.

Here are some common questions and tips to prepare you for a successful putting session.
You can use your own basket at home or a disc golf course, as long as you have enough flat space to mark 30'. Your phone will need to be positioned to catch the basket & your stance completely. We encourage women to test out different setups prior to going live the first time.
While you can use anything to mark your distances, we recommend cones or minis as they will be easier to see in your video. Ribbon-style tape measures are easier to use; be sure to look for ones that are at least 30' long. Phone tripods offer the best flexibility to mount your phone for hands-free recording. Putting occurs each week during league, no matter the weather. We encourage participants to look at their local forecast to putt on days with more favorable weather.
Indoor setups can be used if you have enough space to putt and to film your stance and the basket.
You may use any PDGA approved disc golf target, as well as many portable & foldable disc golf baskets that you can find online. If you have questions about whether your basket will be allowed, feel free to contact us.
Yes, you do!
FaceBook offers an easy way to create a group where live videos can be recorded & posted by members. In this way, we are able to keep our group exclusive to women (and parents or guardians of female junior players). If you don't use FaceBook or have an account under a pseudonym, you can let Tracy know when signing up what your FaceBook username is/will be.
While we can't (obviously) guarantee your putting will improve, almost all of our ladies see improvement. League is a great way to get into a putting routine. And regular practice is the best way to improve!
League is also a great opportunity to change things about your putt to see what works best for you. Many women use league to changed grips, putting styles, release angles, etc.
Don't get discouraged if you join in and don't see improvement right away. League scores aren't the best way to judge improvements- you'll see those on the course when you play a round!
Being nervous is natural! Many women experience butterflies the first few live sessions, but after that start to feel much better.
Taking deep breaths before you putt can help. You may also find listening to your favorite music (with earbuds) helpful. If you're still nervous, try to view it as good practice for high-pressure putting situations like leagues & tournaments.
Having the right mindset is also key. While we keep score in league, it's only practice and best viewed as such. Finishing first or last in a division doesn't mean you're the best (or worst).
